Molly's mom made the first contact with me, to photograph the wedding and it was fantastic. We chatted on the phone for quite some time and she would go on and on about what a great couple Colin and Molly are and how she was just so very happy that they were getting married. I assumed, like most people would assume, that she was a bit biased. I was wrong. I met Colin and Molly at Guglhupf for danishes and lattes one late morning and I instantly liked them. They are one of those couples that laugh and laugh and laugh. They seemed just so comfortable together too. I personally think that is a sign of a good match.
Then the wedding day came! I was a bit nervous because we didn't get to have an engagement session but they are, again, just such wonderful people and just so easy to work with, and was only my second Jewish wedding. (I really love Jewish weddings by the way. I would convert just to take part in the Hora for myself, but I think the rabbi would turn me away if I said that.) They had a first look that made me tear up a little, from behind the viewfinder then went straight into portraits where I would pose them and they would just talk and laugh and laugh some more. It made me love them even more.
Congratulations to you both!!!! I know that you will have an amazing life together.
