You've met Elise before. You saw her about six months ago, here on the blog. Now, she's a whole year old. ONE! She walks, she jabbers on and on in, what sounds like Mandarin, and she is very good at picking fur off of a stuffed bear (the bear was not hurt in the making of these photos).
You can see more from this session here.
I love this age. One is so fun! Everything they see is so new and exciting! They are MOBILE! Which means they never, ever, ever stop moving. And they clap their hands. This last one, clapping, melts my heart. My little one is 5 (almost 6) and her clapping still brings a huge smile to my face although it was more powerful when she was little, anyways, I got off topic.... I love their energy, their awe of life and their size. They are still so little and adorable.
Okay, on to the pictures.
I love being a families photographer. I have photographed Candra and Kengie when they were freshly engaged, their beautiful All Saints Chapel/Marbles Kids Museum wedding, Caleb's newborn session and now his one year old session. I am getting to watch them grow. These are the things that make me happy. This is what brings me joy, as a photographer.
