This was such a neat experience to photograph!!! Not only did I get to photograph a fantastic event at home. Yes, I call The Parlour at Manns Chapel home, not just because I have my office here but because the wonderful ladies, Aimee and Yvette, are like a second family for me. I always feel so loved and welcome and sometimes it really makes me tear up how happy I am here.
Anyways, back to Terra Vita. Chef Vivian Howard of the PBS show, A Chef's Life came along with Farmer Warren Brothers, of A Chef and the Farmer for her booksigning. She just published a new book called Deep Run Roots. There were so many great chefs that came out from Brian Kaderavak from The Chef and the Farmer in Kinston, Frank Lee from Slightly North of Broad in Charleston, John May from The Piedmont in Durham, Bill Smith from Crooks Corner, and Cynthia Wong from Butcher & Bee in Charleston. All of the food was absolutely incredible.
Aimee Flynn and Yvette Navarro did all the design, the pretty florals, signage, and everything minus the food. They are also launching a brand design company that you can also fine at www.theparlourchapel.com.
